The Yasmin Resort and Convention Hotel is an opulent Hotel built in the European style. With gilded domes and marble flooring, the Yasmin boasts a beautiful heated pool ala the Roman Baths. The hotel is close to the Cibodas Botanical Gardens and sits at an elevation of 1050m above sea level. The restaurant served excellent Sundanese food. The pool terrace is also a lovely place to enjoy afternoon tea.
The rooms however, did not meet our expectations of grandeur. They were very comfortable and well decorated although we expected a little more “wow” after walking through the opulent public areas. They have all the modcons though.
If you are traveling in a larger group, consider the Yasmin villas. They are built in the Tuscan style and come with two or three bedrooms. Children have a dedicated Kids Club with experienced minders.
